On Thursday Jewls and Charles, Annie and myself took Indy, Rayne and Hope to Miroma Aged Care (Cummins). As the weather forecast predicted a hot day with very hot northerly winds we arrived just before 10 am. We were greeted by a semi-circle of excited residents waiting patiently in their outdoor covered garden centre.
It was story time with a difference on Monday, September 30, when Cate Harrison from Sanctuary on Eyre took Hope, the greyhound, to the Port Lincoln Library. Hope is a rescue greyhound that has been trained to work with people and loves to spend time listening to children read.
